1. Booking & Payment Details
A booking fee of £30 of the payment is required for all Discos to secure a date. This is deducted from your final bill when paying balance. Full payment must be made at least 7 days prior to the function. Please note: - No reminder given by Lucky 7 Disco to pay balance. School Disco does not require a deposit and full payment is accepted on the night of the disco. Late booking of a function by you within 14 days of required date has to be either paid in full at time of booking of before start of disco or on the night with cash as authorized by Lucky 7 Disco. Bookings made by an agency or company are paid on an invoice basis within 21 days of performance or on the day.
2. Confirmation
A booking form will be sent to you with the terms and conditions. Lucky 7 Disco will send confirmation of a booking by either a letter or an e-mail when we have received the completed booking form, signed terms and conditions form and your booking fee. We do not accept credit cards. A confirmation of paying balance will be sent by either letter or e-mail. We should be notified by letter of any changes made after the initial booking.
3. Miscellaneous
It is the person booking Lucky 7 Disco responsibility to inform us of difficult access such as stairs or any other difficulties relating to the night in question. It is your responsibility at the time of booking to inform the premises of the required entry time, which is 45 minutes before the start and to make sure there is clear access to the entry door for a car with trailer. It is not up to Lucky 7 Disco to move guests to gain space for disco setup. We cannot be held responsible for children, guests or the premises staff being hurt or any damage to clothes when near or touching any part of the equipment. We cannot be responsible for guests suffering from any illness or allergy. Any extra time after the arranged finish time is charged at £30 per half hour and paid by cash on request of the DJ. We cannot guarantee having every song requested on the night unless previously asked for at the time of booking. Messages left on the voicemail service are not confirmation of anything. It is the person booking Lucky 7 Disco responsibility to have adequate supervision at the function and to inform us if it is not suitable to use smoke, strobe lights or any form of pyrotechnics. All bookings are taken on the understanding that the venue is in possession of the necessary entertainment and liquor licenses. We are not responsible if the venue is found to be in breach of the terms of license. In the unlikely event of total disco equipment failure a pro-rata refund will be given for the time remaining minus the deposit. (Excluding circumstances beyond our control i.e power failure).
4. Cancellation by Customer
Booking fees and deposits are non refundable. Cancellation out with 21 days of function must be first telephoned and followed by a letter or email confirming, No charges for cancellation 21 days or more to function date.. Once a balance is paid no refund can be given unless the fault of Lucky 7 Disco. The cancellation charge if you cancel within 21 days of the original date is £100.00. A change of date within 21 days of the function required date is also considered as a cancellation and will result in a £50 charge.
Christmas Disco (December & January dates) must have final confirmation at least 30 days prior to date required. A minimum of £100 charge will be due if cancelled within this time as it can be difficult for us to seek alternative bookings for these dates at a late stage.
5. Cancellation by Lucky 7 Disco
If on an occasion where Lucky 7 Disco must cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, illness, breakdown, etc), the amount paid will be refunded in full. This will be the full extent of Lucky 7 Disco liability. We will attempt to provide a substitute disco if possible but cannot guarantee this. We retain the right to the cancel the disco and give no refund should we discover that the venue is unsuitable or that access is not allowed or is dangerous in any way to Lucky 7 Disco staff. Lucky 7 Disco do not tolerate violent, abusive or threatening behaviour to its staff from anyone under any circumstances. We reserve the right to terminate our services at any time that we feel our personnel safety is under threat. We are not responsible for any power failure at the venue. If you the customer break the contract arrangements made after signing the Terms of Agreement, Lucky 7 Disco may be forced to cancel the booking and no refund will be given.
6. Damage Equipment caused by client or guests.
If any lucky 7 disco equipment is damaged by the client or there guests, the client is responsible to replace it at all cost of the price of new equipment.
Lucky 7 Disco reserve the right to make any change in our Terms and Conditions at late notice.
